I have lost all my keys, can you still help?

Yes. We have the latest equipment which allows us to cut keys from a code without the need of an original key. We can get the code from the vehicle manufacturer or from the door lock itself, depending on the situation, time of day, etc.

How quickly can you get me a key?

In most cases we will have a key in stock and we can supply, cut and program it all on the same day. In the event we don't have one in stock we can usually get one the next day, so you won't be waiting long.

Are you open 24 hours a day?

Strictly speaking no, but we will, wherever possible, do our best to assist you any time of the day. Our normal working hours are 8am - 6pm, but we can be flexible and do early mornings, late nights, etc. Additional charges will apply.

I bought a key online, can you program it?

Technically, yes but more often than not we find customers have bought the incorrect part or have bought a used part that has been previously been programmed to another vehicle (we cannot program used keys). We would always advise against buying keys online unless you are 100% sure the part you are buying is correct. If you would like us to program a key you have bought online our charge is £80 + VAT and this charge is due regardless whether or not the process is successful.

Do you make keys for all manufacturers?

Yes, we cover all manufacturers. We have very sophisticated equipment that allows us to program keys for even the latest models. There are some exceptions, such as some new BMW's and Mercedes, which currently is not possible, but generally we should be able to help.

I have a key but it has stopped working, can you help?

There are many reasons why a key that worked previously may stop working. This could could be due to failure of the key, a blown fuse, electronic component failure, etc. We carry professional diagnostic equipment to allow us to find the cause of the problem and repair the fault quickly and efficiently. For fault diagnosis at your vehicle we charge £100 + VAT per hour (minimum 30 minutes) plus the cost of any repairs and parts.

Do you offer any warranty?

Yes, all genuine manufacture parts are guaranteed for at least 12 months for electronic failure. In the event your key stops working, due to no fault of your own, we will repair or replace the key free of charge. For our cheaper aftermarket parts these are offered with a 6 moths parts only guarantee. We do not cover damage to the key due to negligence, such as being dropped or water damage.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay us cash on completion of the job, by credit / debit card or by BACS (must be paid in advance). Trade customers can also opt for Direct Debit payments.

I have key cover with my insurance, how does it work?

This will depend on your insurance company, but as a general rule you will need to pay us for the work and then claim it back from your insurance company. Please inform us when you get a quote that you have key cover and we will do our best to advise you. We can email copy invoices direct to your insurance company.
