Alfa Romeo use specially encrypted keys that are produced specifically to the chassis number. Because of this, making replacement keys for Alfa Romeo cars is significantly harder than most other manufacturers, as a blank key will just be rejected by the vehicle during the programming process. However, for most models, we have the ability to calculate the VIN encryption and produce 'dealer keys', which allows us to program blank keys from our stock. This significantly reduces the time required to obtain replacement keys, the factory lead time is normally 10 -14 days!

The price varies from model to model. The biggest variance in the price is the parts cost. If aftermarket parts are available the cost can be very reasonable, especially when comparing to a main dealer. However, if only original parts are available for your vehicle this will make the job considerably more expensive. We will always as a minimum look to match the dealer price, and in most cases we are still someway cheaper.
